Studio and Swing Analysis suite
Andrew Jones Golf Academy offers excellent practice facilities including a covered teaching studio offering the latest in state of the art technology including swing analysis with the GASP system.
This software offers the opportunity for your swing to be recorded and analysed and even compared to numerous famous players within the software’s library. When you receive your resume you will be able to view your swing with a comparable swing along side it. This method of coaching is considered by many top coaches to be one of the most effective forms of coaching available and often results in extraordinary changes. The studio opens directly onto the driving range allowing you to record your actual swing when you hit a shot and thus comparing swings with different results.
The Academy also offers other teaching aids most notably the Explanar system which is endorsed by Butch Harmon and other top coaches. The roller motion of the Explanar helps to create muscle memory, muscle strength and mobility and is widely used as an aid to maintaining fitness all year round. The wide range of aids enables your coach to offer the form of instruction which most benefits you taking into account your individual needs.
Driving Range
The driving range offers 9 bays both covered and uncovered all equipped with top quality mats and tees. This facility is free to all Academy clients during the time of your course for you to practice your new skills.
Short Game Areas
There are two excellent short game areas consisting of two pitching/chipping greens, two putting greens and 2 bunkers allowing a full range of shots to be practised
Pro Shop
We have a fully stocked professional shop with custom fitting systems in Titliest, Callaway, Ping and Taylor Made and stocked with many brands including Yonex, Benross, Greg Norman, Footjoy and for the ladies Daily Sports, Liga and Green Lamb. Advice is always at hand and we aim to make your visit as pleasurable and it will be useful.
