Littlestone Golf Course

Apart from snow, frost and exceptionally heavy rain the course never closes. The greens are incredibly consistent with only the greens and tees being watered leading to a true links experience which is totally in tune with how nature intended this terrain to be. Indeed much of the course is designated a "site of special scientific interest". In 2005 the course was the first to be awarded the R & A’s Certificate for Golf Course Management Best Practice.

The course has been in the last 5 years a Final Qualifier for the Open and will be hosting the Final Qualifying again in 2011. The English Ladies Closed Championship has been held at Littlestone 10 times and also will be returning in 2010. The club will also be hosting the Mens English Amateur Championship 2009.

Littlestone Club Room and Bar provides a warm and friendly welcome to everyone whilst maintaining the period features associated with its turn of the century design with the large balcony overlooking the 1st tee being a major feature. Snacks and light meals are available from the bar as well as a larger selection from the dining room. Very popular are the Sunday lunches however a shirt and tie is required.

Romney Warren Golf Course

Running along the side of Littlestone is the beautiful and also exceptionally well maintained Romney Warren Golf Course. The “Warren” follows many of the same management principles as Littlestone however the course is shorter and less demanding. It is perfectly suited to new golfers or golfers with higher handicaps.

The 19th hole was extensively refurbished and extended in 2004/5 and is open to the public, offering a full range of snacks and meals with “breakfast” being a particularly requested item.
